Furniture and other items in bedrooms change significantly,

bedroom could contain carpeting,
one or more dressers (or possibly, a wardrobe armoire);
a bed of a particular size (double, king or queen-sized); one
or more closets and a nightstand. Built-in closets are
less common in Europe than in North America; thus there is further
use of freestanding wardrobes or armoires in Europe.
